We are equipped with all the gear for fishing, exploring or
relaxing on the island.
Kayaking
We offer six new Old Town Predator fishing kayaks for guests who would like to incorporate some DIY (do it yourself) fishing into their trip, or guests who would just enjoy some sightseeing and exercise exploring the local flats and keys.
It is quite common to encounter spotted eagle rays, southern rays, manatee, sand sharks, trunk fish, parrot fish, diving pelicans, and a host of other wildlife.
It is also not necessary to confine your DIY fishing to just Tarpon Caye. We will happily deliver kayakers to more remote cayes via our 26’ panga motor boat. At the start of your day we drop you off with your gear, lunch and a powerful two-way radio.
When your day of kayaking is concluded, just give us a call and we buzz right out to pick you up!
Snorkeling
The Tarpon Caye area was voted third best snorkeling in all of Belize!
One look at any of the aerial photos of the Caye shows why.
Guests are amazed by the unspoiled clarity of the water.
Simply grab some snorkeling gear and wade into the water by your cabin, you will be rewarded by immersing yourself in a pristine habitat for:
